Happy Fall friends! I've been kind of quiet these past few months as we've been busy moving, unpacking and getting settled. My husband recently retired from the Marine Corps (20 years!). We have moved back to Missouri and relocated to the Kansas City area. Belton, MO to be exact. I was very sad to leave the beautiful beaches in North Carolina and to leave behind awesome friends and clients. It was such an honor to be a photographer for so many families vacationing there on the coast. Although I miss the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, I am happy to be back in Missouri near friends and family. Fort Leonard Wood/Waynesville, Missouri is where I call home, so it's nice to only be three hours away.

If you're checking out my website for this first time, thank you! I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm am Army brat and call Missouri home! I graduated from Mizzou several years ago. I was an elementary teacher for about 10 years. I taught in Missouri, Texas and South Carolina. After I had my second daughter, I decided that I really wanted to be at home with my children. It was perfect timing because I was shortly diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It's been 4 years and I'm healthy and cancer free. My daughters are seven and four and who I enjoy photographing the most! My oldest has a generic condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and is doing very well.

Photography was very therapeutic for me while going through treatment. I love photographing children and families the most. I'm very laid back in my approach and love to capture authentic moments. I hope you get a chance to look through some of my galleries. My galleries and website will be undergoing some changes. Please excuse the "mess" while I transition my website from everything beachy.

I'm excited to share some images with you about our new home!

Our new home has a great feature that I'm so, so, so excited about.

We have this awesome carriage house that I will be transforming into my studio/office!

And I'm super excited about all this wonderful outdoor space!

We have 6 acres on our property that make the perfect backdrops for all types of portraits.

This is a great time to book a portrait session! The temperature is just right - not too hot, not too cold and the colors of fall are amazing. I'd love to meet you and become your photographer! I'm currently booking in the Kansas City area and some weekends in Waynesville/Ft Leonard Wood.
