Under the Topsail Sun: Photography Basics for Beginners
Do you have a shiny new DSLR or perhaps you've had one for several months? You're struggling because you can't figure out how to capture better images? Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, exposure . . . what does it all mean? If you'd like to take your camera off "auto mode," this Photography Basics for Beginners workshop is perfect for you! Whether you're a mom who would like to take better photos of your children or someone who would like to capture the amazing colors of sunrise/sunset, we've got you covered. Vicki Howe (Nikon shooter) is a natural light, lifestyle photographer specializing in beach portraits. Rachel Carter (Canon shooter) is a fabulous coastal landscape photographer. We ask that you bring your camera manual to class!
We are offering 4 classes; you choose the one that best fits your schedule. Time is dependent on sunset. Each class will be 4 hours long and will take place in Surf City, NC. We will cover camera settings, have plenty of time for questions and answers and most importantly, hands on experience shooting people and the coastal landscape. Each class will only have 4 or 5 participants to ensure that you receive one on one mentoring.
